Dining on Campus Orientation
  • All undergraduate students are advised to attend orientation to best get acclimated with college life. Throughout this one day event, students will be introduced to our academic programs, support services and co-curricular opportunities. All students must RSVP for their assigned Orientation date. Find out about new student orientation here
  • Graduate students will meet with faculty, staff and fellow students in their areas of study before the start of classes to get acclimated to Purchase, gain access to studios, and finalize schedules. More details will be posted later in the spring.
  • International students should attend International Student Orientation for required visa/immigration advisement. This two day orientation is held just prior to the start of classes. Undergraduate students need not attend July orientation; all aspects of this will be covered during international student orientation.
Required Documents: Health and Safety

Deadlines: January 15 for spring enrollment
                   August 15 for fall enrollment

  • Complete your FAFSA for financial aid. Make sure your application has the Purchase College code of 006791.
  • New York State residents: complete your TAP application too!  Make sure your application has the Purchase College code of 0970.
  • Check your Semester eBill on myHeliotrope under the Student Accounts box. Fall 2018 semester bills are due August 15th, 2018.
  • If you already have comparable medical insurance, waive the Purchase Health Insurance through myHeliotrope.
  • If you will have a car on campus, order your parking permit through myHeliotrope. Click on the Student tab, then click on Parking Options.
Required Documents: Final Transcripts and Test Scores
  • Submit a final official high school transcript with your graduation date. Complete our request form and submit it to your high school.
  • Submit final official college transcript(s) from all colleges you have attended after your last term ends. All transcripts should be mailed to: Purchase College Admissions, 735 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase, NY 10577.
  • Did you take an Advanced Placement exam? If so, have your scores sent to us from The College Board. Our CEEB code is 2878.
  • Did you take a College Level Examination Program (CLEP)? If so, have your scores sent to us from The College Board. Please use the CEEB code 2878.
Getting Ready for Classes
  • Once you have paid your Enrollment Deposit and set up your email/myHeliotrope account, you should proceed to the New Student Registration page and follow the instructions for your student type (Freshmen or Transfer) and academic program. Graduate students: get in touch with your academic departments for registration information.
